I have been using this hub for a few months now. Good product. But severely lacks any sort of documentation. For example, the USB-C DC-IN power rating is not mentioned anywhere. When I connect the 180 Watts power adapter of my Dell Laptop to this port, the laptop does not charge. I found out on my openSUSE installation that this device is a:
Bus 001 Device 023: ID 2109:8888 VIA Labs, Inc. PD3.0 USB-C Device
PD3.0 indicates maximum 100W only. Because of this, I’m still having to connect my laptop charger separately. The worst part of this setup is that when I suspend my laptop and turn off the power supply, this hub still draws power from the laptop. This is causing my laptop to discharge overnight. I’ve had my laptop battery completely drain out twice so far.
Hence, one less star.
