MX LC connectors, adapters and cable assemblies have been developed to meet the challenges of the Datacom and Telecom industries, including compatibility with many standard cable sizes and fiber types, adhering to industry mechanical and environmental standards. This mating sleeve is designed to connect two duplex LC fiber optic cables. Fits standard LC Duplex cutout for adapter plates, patch panels, and wall mounts. The shuttered adapters are equipped with a spring loaded shutter which automatically closes when a connector is removed from the adapter and shield against exposure to laser radiation and provide some barrier to dust contamination. EMI Shielded LC adapters are also available for applications where EMI or RFI emissions are a concern.
